Unfortunately, the planning was a bit off. It turns out that in addition to those people on vacation during Succot, there is a race up in the Golan Heights this weekend. These two problems combined to result in only about 30 people signing up for the race, instead of the 400 who came last time.
It’s not a big surprise then that the municipality postponed the race.
That being said - we’re still planning on leading people out on recreational rides on both the 23km sport and the shorter “family” course Friday morning. We’ve put time into getting this ready, so it would be a shame to not go out for a ride in the end. Rumor has it they’ll try to hold the race again in February.
On top of this, Ana’s mother is coming down to visit over the weekend. I have a feeling we’ll spend quite a bit of time getting the place ready anyway.
