Some friends of mine from Toronto are racing this weekend in the Frontier Aventure Racing’s winter SAC race. It’s a unique twist on a winter race due to the recent weather there. Apparently it’s been a bit warmer than usual this winter. According to them:
Latest word is that the tobogganing section has been removed and snowshoes are optional.
The race is to be held at the Mansfield Outdoor Centre, a great place for mountain biking and cross country skiing. In spite of the weather, I trust it will still be a great race and wish them luck. Have a blast!
